The National Association of Public Secondary Schools of the Philippines (NAPSSPHIL), Inc. is pleased to announce the 2nd International Conference on Research Culture Management in Basic Education.  Join us as we delve into "Bridging Learning Gaps: Innovations for Sustainable and Responsible Research Practices in Basic Education."  

This significant event, endorsed by the Department of Education (DepEd Endorsed: DM-OUHROD 20242293), will be held from May 19-21, 2025, at the Citystate Asturias Hotel Palawan in Puerto Princesa.  

Hosted by: National Association of Public Secondary Schools of the Philippines (NAPSSPHIL), Inc.  

Theme:  "Bridging learning Gaps: Innovations for sustainable and responsible research practices in Basic Education"

Conference Aims:

• Improve understanding of responsible research practices among educators and researchers in Department of Education schools.  
• Discuss implementing policies that ensure the sustainability of responsible research practices in DepEd.  
• Discuss best practices, methodologies, and innovative technologies for conducting ethical and responsible research and ensuring data integrity within the Department of Education.  
• Identify and address challenges in implementing responsible research practices in Department of Education schools to enhance educational outcomes.

Important Notes for Public School Personnel:

• Participation is subject to DepEd Order No. 46 s. 2022 (Omnibus Travel Guidelines for All Personnel of the Department of Education).  
• The use of DepEd funds is subject to the approval of the respective authorities and contingent upon fund availability, adhering to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.  
• Participation of public school personnel shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order (DO) No. 9, s. 2005.  

Registration & Abstract Submission:

• Registration Fee: 6,500 Php per participant.  This covers expenses for meals and snacks, venue rental, honoraria for resource persons and facilitators, and other incidental expenses.  This is chargeable against school MOOE and/or other local funds, subject to COA accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
